Mohammad Shwarma (B.S.)
Mohammad Shwarma holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and over 30 training certificates in different subjects such as Stress and Anger Management, Case Management, Sexual Gender-Based Violence, Project Management, and Capacity Building. In the past three years he worked as a trainer in the field of non-government organizations located in the Mafrag-Zaatari Camp. Additionally, to his work as a trainer, he worked for 2 years as a project manager and researcher at the University of Washington. He coordinated the collection of Syrian recipes and stories from the residents of the Zaatari camp for the publication of the Zaatari Cook Book. Also, he researched technology exploration towards a trustable and safe use of social media for vulnerable women.
Currently Shwarma is project manager for the refugee-led organization Zaatari Camp Creations, the supervisor of the Community Support Group (SSG) of the Internal Relief and Development (IRD) Organization, and project manager with Givaudan Human by Nature in the Zaatari Camp.
As part of the ThRIvE Project, Shwarma supervises and teaches the MBSR Course for Zaatari participants.

Rola El-Annan (M.ED.)
Rola El-Annan, M.ED., is a board certified behavior analyst from the Arizona State University and a change management mindfulness trainer. Her work includes corporate strategic planning and goal setting, competency building and identifying challenges to performance and corporate behaviors on all levels. She coaches stress and resource management, transformation and change, individual and group interventions, and mindfulness in education, at work, and in life. She is currently employed in the IBE Institute, Lebanon.
As part of the ThRIvE Project, El-Annan is part of the facilitation of the MBSR courses for participants from the Zaatari Camp and mindfulness practice workshops for MUBS and GJU students.
