International Social Work Clubs
The Social Work Clubs in Lebanon and Jordan are informal associations of (future) social workers, with the goal to link theory with practice, to learn from each other and practical work.
The aim is to empower the self-care practice of social workers and their decision to act self-responsibly by acknowledging their own needs. These clubs aim at strengthening the embodied self-awareness, metacognition, and emotional intelligence for self-empowerment and builds international connections between social workers. The clubs are built on a theoretical foundation but conceptualize as an experience-based learning practice.
