The Project

The ThRIvE project (Thinking from the Future, Recognizing & Interconnecting in the Past, Vital & Embodied Empowerment in the Present) enables international and scientific exchange on social work in crisis contexts between the Technical University of Würzburg Schweinfurt (THWS) in Germany, the Modern University for Business & Science (MUBS) in Lebanon and the German Jordanian University (GJU) in Jordan. The aim of the project is, on the one hand, to strengthen future social workers in their self-reflection and to promote their tolerance for ambiguity, so that they can act appropriately in future crises. On the other hand, the project aims to transform the social work education system in such a way that more participation and international networking are anchored in the curricula.
