International Social Work Club

We Care Club - Social Work Club Lebanon

The Social Work Club Lebanon – We Care Club -  is a community in which like-minded students passionate about the social work profession come together in both social and academic spheres. The club is based on the principles of the social work code of ethics. With a foundation firmly built on ethical considerations, the initiators strive to provide a meaningful and enriching experience for the members and all those who benefit from the club. The primary goal is to foster the professional and personal growth of the members, creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. This club serves as a safe haven for students to express themselves, discuss their perspectives, navigate challenges, and share their concerns. By promoting an open dialogue, the club aims to cultivate a sense of community and understanding among the members.

Dedicated to promoting the status of social work as a profession, the club organizes awareness events that shed light on social work’s essential role in both social and professional contexts. The mission extends beyond the confines of the club, as the initiators actively encourage community service and civic engagement among their members.

Regarding sustainability, the club aspires to be a self-sufficient entity, financing the social activities and interventions through local fundraising events. This financial independence ensures that the initiatives remain robust and continue to make a positive impact on the community.

The presentation from the Social Work Club will provide further information about the launch as well as past and future activities of the club.
