RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion
The RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time, and Motion is an interdisciplinary Research Centre, consisting of a collaboration between the Department of Musicology, Informatics, and Psychology of the University of Oslo. Together RITMO aims at expanding the understanding of rhythm as a fundamental property of human life. In their work, RITMO aims to provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of the perceptual and cognitive mechanisms underlying the human capacity to execute and experience rhythm. Our partners at RITMO contribute expertise on the intersection of Informatics and Music and support HIGH-M in the implementation of technical components necessary for automated analysis.
