Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg

The University of Music Nuremberg, evolved out of the Meistersinger-Konservatorium and kommunale Doppelhochschule Nürnberg Augsburg, is since 2008 the third public University of Music in Bavaria Germany. The 2018 restored historical main building is symbolic of the connection between tradition and modernity which is reflected in its focus on research and innovation. This connection becomes visible in the newly introduced Professorship of Research and Human-Animal Studies as well as the Junior-Professhorship of Artifical Creativity and Musical Interaction with the attached AI-Centre of the University. Our cooperation partners at HfM Nürnberg inherit those two professorships and therefore connect effortlessly to the interdisciplinary and future-directed setup of the HIGH-M project.
